Lemme just say this drawing almost won grand prize, traditional art (especially graphite portraits) has always been my #1 love, and this piece just encapsulated everything i want to be able to do with graphite. This was a total last minute surprise, i had the winners all chosen then this popped up in my notes and i had to change everything! Such a soft ethereal quality to this piece, the colors in the hair blend flawlessly, and i love the contrast of the brown with the vibrant colors.

Amazing. She managed to take a poor quality stock image and turn it into a masterpiece! Looking at it, you wouldn't be able to tell that the dreads weren't in the actual photo, it's amazing how she was able to match up the light source!
